Cabins

When campers arrive at Cedar Ridge Camp, they are assigned to live in one of 25 lakefront cabins based on age and gender. Each cabin houses six to eight campers and is serviced by modern shower houses and bathrooms.

Property

At Cedar Ridge, campers enjoy amazing outdoor facilities. The sports fields witness games of soccer and ultimate frisbee. The baseball diamonds are perfect for sunny afternoon games and the paved sports pads are the place for campers to practice their basketball free throws. We have a 10 metre high climbing wall, ready to challenge all-comers. Just a half-hour drive away, the Madawaska River provides an excellent spot for campers to develop their white-water skills.

Meals

Finally, camp food that tastes good and is good for you! We’re proud of the fresh and nutritious meals that are prepared on-site. We offer a delicious selection that even the pickiest eaters will enjoy. Special diets can be accommodated. Just to whet your appetite... breakfast consists of fresh fruit, juice, bacon, fresh eggs, toast, hot and cold cereal... to get a camper off on a good start to a day full of fun and adventure.

Our campers love the delicious, nutritious sit-down meals in the dining hall, but camp wouldn’t be camp without frequent cookouts. With lots of firepits spread across the camp, kids get to roast hot-dogs and burn marshmallows.

Nut Policy

Cedar Ridge has a complete peanut/nut ban at camp in order to ensure the safety of all campers.

Health Services

At Cedar Ridge, we take safety very seriously. We make every effort to ensure that the camp is a safe environment. Our staff are trained in standard and emergency first-aid and CPR, have a minimum Bronze Cross swimming qualification and keep a watchful eye on signs of dehydration, allergies, eating habits and proper use of sunscreen and insect repellant. A practitioner R.N. or medical doctor is on site at all times, and the Bancroft General Hospital is just 28 km away.
